For centuries, this timeless textile has has been around. Velvet trends continue to resurface over and over again in many different ways. In 2019, it is one of the most sought-after fabrics for interior designers. We’ve seen velvet couches, chairs, furniture, accessories, drapery and everything in between.

- Use deep jewel tones
It’s rich and luxurious nature translates well in deep emeralds, sapphires and other jewel colors. In this inspiration board, we used our emerald green velvet chairs as the main focal point.
2. Contrasting textures
Balance your space with fabrics other than just velvet. This multi-dimensional fabric will really stand out when paired with patterns, other colors and other woven fabrics, just as we have done with this faux fur in the inspiration board.
3. Pair with a metal
Bringing in metal adds glimmers of light into your space. The warm tones of the gold combined with the cool green tones add the perfect contrast to this board. It’s almost as if emerald green and gold were made for each other.
