Architectural Justice designer, Denise Rideout, helped her clients transform their kitchen and dining rooms into a more open-concept space with a transitional appeal.

A transitional kitchen has a blend of traditional and contemporary elements which delivers a classic look.

By opening up a wall that separated the kitchen and dining room this space is now light & bright and perfect for entertaining family and friends.

The dining table in the old kitchen was replaced with a beautiful island that seats six. This kitchen features Shiloh cabinetry with a painted perimeter in Repose Gray and a stained island in Harbor.

This beautiful island is a leathered quartzite which is a popular material for kitchens due to its durability and stunning marble-like appearance. The custom zinc range hood is an AJ original, handcrafted by our talented artisans.
