If you know our owner James Justice, you know that he is a fountain of ideas and the creativity never stops. His passion is what has grown Architectural Justice into what it is today. The plan for an expansion of the Medina showroom was in the works long ago but when the Center Towing building adjacent to the Strongsville Commons became available, it was an opportunity that couldn’t be passed up. Strongsville has always been a great source of business for Architectural Justice and we knew that we could bring something new and exciting to the neighborhood.
The Inspiration
The goal in opening a new location in Strongsville is to showcase our design capabilities to the area in an innovative way. The new space will show off the work we do in Medina plus so much more. Our mission as a company is to create “WOW” experiences while passionately providing unique, innovative products, services and spaces. With this new venture that mission still stands true.

For us it is all about the experiences in life. We want people to come to the Gallery & Cafe and be inspired by not only the design but by the products, the food, and the overall experience. A lot of the inspiration for the new business stems from the passions of James and his wife Darlene. Their love of cooking along with experiences had while traveling inspired the business idea of blending retail with a cafe.
As a Sub-Zero Wolf appliance dealer a demonstration kitchen was always something in the future plans for Justice. We aim to bring something new to the area by offering cooking classes and culinary events featuring local chefs.
Building from the Ground Up

Building before and after demo and now during construction.
Initially the plan for the Strongsville site was to remodel the existing building, but after going over the plans the space was not going to be large enough. We are a remodeling company but on this project we are the general contractor as James wanted to be completely hands on with the new space. The existing building was demolished in October of 2015. Since then the team has been working on the building design and construction which started in March 2016.
Designing an Experience
We aim to provide our customers with great products. We have been busy sourcing some wonderful home goods and furnishings to fill the gallery. Of course we will also be showcasing some of our AJ Originals which are designed and crafted in our artisan workshops here in Medina. Every product we sell is being hand selected with the utmost detail and we are partnering with some great local companies and artisans. For the cafe we have teamed up with Rising Star Coffee Roasters who have several shops in Cleveland along with their roastery. We are thrilled to serve their coffee and are still in the process of sampling different beans to determine our specialty AJ blend.
Growing a Team
With the addition of a new business means fresh faces to join our family. We are currently accepting applications for all positions, including local chefs interested in teaching cooking classes and/or hosting pop-up dinners. You can see all the available positions here.
