This once outdated Medina home has undergone a lower level contemporary transformation of the kitchen and mudroom. We gave these homeowners the space they were dreaming of all centered around these contrasting color palletes.
We replaced the old kitchen cabinets around the perimeter with Shrock Maple cabinets and a SOHO tile backsplash. In the center, we added an island to create a prep sink and ample kitchen seating. Using a bold stone for the island counter top and a contrasting cabinet color, this island gives subtle contrast and a contemporary vibe.
We opened up the hallway from the kitchen leading to the mudroom to allow for more laundry space, a better flow and more room for storage.
In this new laundry space, everything has a place. We installed Shrock cabinets in a fun blue finish with a pennytile backsplash to give this once drab laundry room a personality makeover.
