1. Make an Appointment & Prepare
In preparation for the appointment you have made with us for new countertops, it’s beneficial to take pictures and gather any measurements you may need. This will help the designer to better visualize your space and provide recommendations.
2. The Initial Appointment
During your appointment, you’ll meet with one of our knowledgeable designers that will guide you through the granite yard of over 3,000 slabs to find a beautiful stone to perfectly match your needs.
After selecting your material, your designer will prepare an initial quote. If you choose to proceed, your job will be submitted for scheduling once the initial deposit is received.
2. Templating
On the scheduled day, we will send one of our experienced technicians to your home for laser measurements. Those measurements are sent back to the Granite Shop where they will be used to determine a layout and fabricate your stone.
3. Layout Appointment
Before our Granite Shop can begin fabrication, the proper layout must be determined. If your stone has ample movement and variation, we will request that you come in for a layout appointment. Being that it is a natural product, every stone is different. Our Granite Shop Artisans will work with you to come up with a layout that is most efficient with the square footage of your slab.
4. Fabrication
After approving the layout, your stone will be transported from the granite yard to our 10,000 square foot fabrication facility, also known as the Granite Shop. Our Artisans will begin to fabricate your stone on the Robo Saw, a state-of-the-art water-jet. This process takes specialized knowledge of both the machine and the type of stone in order to produce the best result.
After the shape of your countertops has been cut out, the stone is ready for the edges to be hand polished. Depending on the edge you choose, this process can vary in length and difficulty. This too takes a very experienced Artisan to get the polishing just right.
5. Installation
Once the stone has been fabricated, it is ready for your home. Our installers will arrive on the scheduled day to install your beautiful, Artisan-made countertops.
