CLASS DETAILS:

This cooking class will feature a 1 1/2 hour cooking class, followed by a sit-down meal of the recipes prepared in class. Beverages are available for purchase through the Cafe.

 

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Hello, my name is Hanan. I am from morocco. I am married with 3 children. I came to America over 3 years ago. I love to cook and I am excited for this experience to be able to share my food with you. I started to cook when I was 10 years old with my mom. I liked making breads, cakes, and cookies and all types of cuisine: French, Italian, etc. I am looking forward to sharing these traditional Moroccan specialties with you!

Local Abundance KitchenOur mission is to educate and assist refugees and immigrants to offer cooking classes and workshops that will provide them with an empowering and enriching path to meaningful income. This income will not only take care of the essential needs of their families, but also finance their specific goals, whether it is securing employment, starting a business, or providing financial assistance to family still in dire conditions abroad.
