At Architectural Justice, we have a talented team of designers who take the time to determine the exact needs of your space and plan accordingly, offering both functionality and style. We offer 6 cabinet lines ranging from builder-grade to custom. We are proud to partner with reputable cabinet lines including Schrock, Shiloh, Eclipse, Decora and Marsh.
Our stock cabinetry lines offer a wide range of species, finishes, options and price points to meet every budget. In addition, we have our own line of cabinetry built in-house in the cabinet shop. The collaborative effort of designer, homeowner and artisan come together to create custom spaces and pieces that are unique to your lifestyle, all while adding value to your home.
While cabinets can be the largest expense of your kitchen remodel, they also set the overall aesthetic and function of your kitchen. We understand the process can be meticulous, so we want to help. Not only do we have a staff of experienced designers, but here’s a guide to choosing the cabinets that appeal to your style and life.
Things to consider:
To better understand the ins and outs of the different cabinet lines we offer, it’s important to know what you do and don’t want. Read through this list before diving into the cabinetry comparison.
- Framed: In this traditional cabinet construction, a frame is added to the front of the cabinet box and cabinet doors are secured to the frame. This gives added dimension to the front of the cabinet.
- Full Access Frameless: This construction style eliminates the frame on the front of the cabinet box allowing for greater interior accessibility than framed cabinets and a more modern look if desired.
- Furniture Board (Particle Board): Made from wood fibers glued and pressed together. Costs less than plywood.
- Plywood: Layers of wood veneer glued together with alternating grain for stability. Thought to be better quality for cabinetry building.
- Dovetail: A locking joint constructed from wedges called tails and pins cut into wood that interlock with one another. This interlocking on either side of the drawer creates a box with very strong joints and large holding capacity.
- Full extension: Full extension glides allow you to open a drawer completely so that you can reach the contents at the back of the drawer. These can be installed on the sides or the back. Full extension hinges allow you to open a door at a 300 degree angle.
- Self Closing: These hinges have a spring built in so that when you being to close them, the spring takes over and closes the door or drawer. If you do not have soft-closing hinges, there will be a “thump” when the door or drawer closes.
- Soft Closing: These hinges are built with hydraulics so that when you being to close them, the hydraulics take over and allow the door or drawer to close softly and silently.

My cousin has been having a lot of problems with the cabinets in his home because he just bought it and some of the doors are falling off. He would really like to get them replaced by a professional that can help them look a lot nicer. I liked what you said about how they can reach items in the back of the drawer by getting a full extension added on.
